Our practice follows the recent national guidelines known as HIPAA. These regulations were designed to protect patients from having their personal and private medical information released to people or places without their consent and knowledge. Unfortunately, these regulations do mean A LOT more paperwork. Patients must now sign consents for their records to be released to anyone, including themselves!

We are keenly aware that HIPAA regulations can be an inconvenience for patients. Just remember, we didn't make this law, but we all must adhere to it. Our staff will help you navigate the HIPAA regulations and a copy of the full regulations is available to every patient when you check-in at our office.
