Johanna Trowell, LPN ~ Head Nurse
Johanna joined our practice in late 2004 and combines her professional training as a nurse with her personal experiences as a wife and mother of three boys. Johanna is very well versed in the treatment of infertility. She has also trained in New York and California as a surgical assistant in liposuction, lipo assisted abdomnioplasty, and breast implants. Being fluent in Spanish as well as English has proven to be a plus for those patients in need of translation with expert and caring advice. Johanna also does all of our surgery scheduling and supervises our nursing staff.
Wendy Womble, LPN -Obstetrics / Gynecology / Patient Care
Wendy is an experienced obstetrics and gynecology nurse. Her father has been an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for many years now. He has since retired from private practice. Wendy currently handles all high risk and normal obstetric patients. Wendy assists the physicians with office procedures. Wendy also enjoys interacting with patients on the phone with lab results or any questions or concerns they may have. Wendy and her husband live in Clermont with their lovely daughter, Hannah .
Amy Zollweg, RN
Amy joined us in the late spring of 2009. She brings with her more than eighteen (18) years experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Amy's father is now a retired OB/GYN and she began her career in that field at his office in Lansing, MI in 1991. She, her husband and two sons live in Clermont where her Dad retired. Amy takes care of our prescription refills and may call you with results.
Jennifer White, MA
Jennifer joined our practice September of 2008 and has been working in the ob/gyn field since 2003. She lives in Clermont with her husband and son. Jennifer assists our physicians as well as our infertility patients with education, information and instructions per our physicians. She also takes care of all of our patients IUD and Lupron needs. She always has a smile and a cheerful attitude, making patients feel at ease.
Natalie Stone, MA
Natalie joined us at the first of December 2006. She was born in Tampa and grew up in New Port Richey, FL. Natalie recently purchased a home in Groveland, FL with her fiance Kyle. They will be getting married this October in Clearwater, Fl. She is attending college to become a RN. Natalie is also the niece of Dr. Kristina McLean. She takes care of all of our aesthetic needs and is always willing to answer questions about any of our aesthetic procedures.
Brenda Spears, RN
Brenda has several years experience in women's care. Before joining our practice she worked at South Lake Hospital, in the Mother/Baby unit for over two years. Brenda received her training directly from Palomar on our newest Intense Pulse Light machine. She now performs our IPL services on clients in the office during day and selected evening hours. Brenda is a native from central Florida and lives in Clermont with her husband and two children.
Amanda Martinez, MA
Amanda is the newest member of our nursing staff. She was born and raised here in Central Florida. She lives in Groveland with her husband who happens to be her high school sweetheart. Amanda helps our patients to the rooms and assists the doctors and the patient through their entire visit. She always has a cheerful smile and positive attitude.
Caroline Sargeant, ARNP
Caroline is our newest Nurse Practitioner. She has several years experience with Obstetrics and will be seeing both Gynecologic and Obstetric patients in our office in the near future. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology. She comutes to our office from Lakeland where she lives with her husband who is currently overseas in the ARMY. She enjoys participating in triathlons in her free time.
Aesthetics and Anti-Aging
Jacquie Little, Facial Specialist
Jacquie is our licensed facial specialist. Jacquie graduated with her license in skin care in 2000 in South Florida. She then relocated to Lake County where she has been practicing her aesthetics. She joined our team in 2005 bringing her unique techniques and vast skin care knowledge. Jacquie is well versed in our skin care lines. She performs Vibraderm treatments, acne treatments, rosacea treatments and several chemical peels, i.e. "South Beach Peel" , glycolics and lactic acid. All consultations with Jacquie are always complimentary.
Administrator
Tanis E. Hudson
Tanis is our office/practice manager and finance coordinator. She serves as patient advocate by providing assistance with appointment and referral scheduling, insurance authorizations, and coordination of care. She currently lives in Clermont with her husband and has extended family in Clermont, Orlando, Lakeland and New Port Richey.
Tanis is available to assist both patients and staff with a myriad of questions related to insurance, HIPAA privacy policies, vendor relationships, human resources, community relations, and marketing. The most frequently asked question she gets, however, is related to the office decor, which she designed and implemented herself.
Front Office Personnel
Lisa Thornburg ~ Lindsey Ellman ~ Melissa Lantz
Our front office personnel are usually the first staff members to greet patients in our office. They verify each patient's information upon arriving for appointments, triage incoming phone calls, and relay messages between patients and office staff throughout the day. It is Lisa's responsibility to collect co-pays when patient's check in. Some patients feel the front staff are the most important people in our office as they are able to provide immediate assistance for most patient needs. Lisa joined us in November and lives in Clermont with her husband two daughters and grand-daughter. Lindsey also came aboard in November part time. She works in the evenings at check-out and attends college during the day. Lindsey has lived in the Clermont area her whole life and loves spending time out on all of Clermonts beautiful lakes. Melissa recently joined us May of 2010 and currently works up front with Lisa assisting in checking in all of our patients. She relocated to Clermont from New Port Richey, Fl. to be closer to her cousins.
Cara Poirer, Scheduler
Cara schedules all of our patient appointments. She is always happy and willing to help get our patients set up for their appointments in a prompt and sufficient manner. She moved to Orlando from New Hampshire three year ago to work for Disney. She still works part-time with Disney and enjoys going to the parks with her boyfriend on the weekends.
Teresa Scaturro, Check-Out Chick
Teresa checks out all of our patients, gets them educational materials and faxes all of their prescriptions so they are ready for them to pick up at their pharmacy. She was born in Ohio and moved to Florida when she was 4 years old. She lives in Clermont with her husband and their 5 daughters. She enjoys going to their many sporting events and cheering for them in the stands on weekends.
Marisa Marié, Front Office Coordinator
Marisa has been with us a few years and lives in Groveland with her husband Jose and their two children. Marisa is the one who meets all the Moms-to-be on their first visit. She sits down with them to go over their maternity benefits, sets up their ob , package payment plans and answers any questions they may have. Another plus is that Marisa is also bilingual, speaking fluent spanish and english..
General Office Personnel
Kami Oliver, COBGCS ~ Billing Supervisor
Kami, our Billing Supervisor, is a native Floridian, growing up in Tampa. She has several years of medical billing and coding experience in the Tampa Bay area. Kami relocated to Clermont with her husband, Jason and their four children. Kami is very dedicated and knowledgeable. She is always ready and willing to help our patients with any insurance or billing issues they may have.
Bonnie Mahangu, Billing
Bonnie who also works in the billing department, came aboard in November of 2008 from an OB/GYN practice in Orlando. She wanted to work closer to home and her young daughter's pre-school . Bonnie has about five and a half years of medical billing experience. Bonnie enters in all of the surgeries and deliveries. Bonnie was born in Guyana and moved to Florida in 1998.
Kyle Dattoli, Insurance Verifier
Kyle joined our practice two years ago and had relocated here from New Port Richey with his fiance Natalie. Kyle ensures your insurance benefits are accurately verified before you come in for your appointment.
Tiffany Benjamin
Tiffany rejoined our practice last year. She previously worked in our front office and now is responsible for entering all of our daily charges. She lives in Clermont with her son Jarren and loves cheering him on for all of his baseball games.
Lori McLean ~ Licensed Massage Therapist
Lori is also a nurse aid and works here three (3) days a week to fill in where needed. She has extensive office skills and helps with lab results, filing, redesigning and creating forms, etc. Lori actually owns a home in Holiday, Florida which is just outside of New Port Richey. Her days here are Tuesday thru Thursday. Lori recently became certified in pregnancy massage in New York. |
